a greeting from the lecture hall {happy monday}

Good morning from the university halls,

Today, I am feeling inspired by the great muses:

  • DaVinci‘s Vitruvian man

and

  • Galileo + astronomical entities

These great philosophers/inventors/artists spark an idea within me:

astronomical stone jewelry, perfectly connecting our star signs with the metaphysical world

I found this astronomical planet gemstone guide from Wandering Star:

and a beautiful inspiration piece:

an astrological planet + gemstone bracelet, {unknown designer}

- such a statement, yet so dainty and perfect for the astrology lover

this star sign pendant, above, {designer unknown}, is also another beautiful beautifully simple and charming piece… I love the structure of the metal pendant, and the star signs can be easily stamped into the sheet metal… what an easy, creative project piece for a rainy weekend day.

*I’m also inspired by the idea of monadology, an idea by philosophical thinker Gottfried Leibniz (1646-1716).

Monadism is the indivisible units that make up the universe, the universe being populated by living things.

To me, this is all life and life in itself, comprised and sharing the same universe. Humans, animals, living organisms, and perhaps even extra terrestrial life.

… seeing the same stars, and sharing the same blanket of sky–there is something so ethereal and lovely about this idea.

Today, strive to find your muse. Your muse can change from day-to-day, or even several times a day, but find what inspires you, and just think.

Take even a simple idea, and create something of your own out of it. Just think.

Knowledge is power, and even so is your beautiful mind.

Take care,

E
